




Carson City Sheriff's deputies made several arrests for felony or gross misdemeanor allegations over the weekend, including:
- William W. Hornbeck, 41, a Carson City plumber, for three felony failure to appear warrants in his name. No bail has been set. At the same time, deputies arrested Eduardo Juarez Leon, 42, a Carson City man, for felony harboring a fugitive. Bail in that case is set at $10,000.
- Theodore John Choley, 31, a store manager from Reno, for a gross misdemeanor allegation of assault on a peace officer, as well as misdemeanor allegations of reckless driving and second offense driving under the influence. Bail is set at $5,500 plus administrative fees.
- Michael A. Conley, 29, a Rio Linda, Calif. resident, for felony possession with intent to sell, felony possession of one ounce or more of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail is set at $18,500 plus administrative fees.
- Myron Buckley, 50, a Carson City resident, for gross misdemeanor battery on a peace officer, as well as misdemeanor allegations of trespassing and resisting a public officer. Bail is set at $3,650 plus administrative fees.
Officers also made several misdemeanor arrests, including:
- A 42-year-old Carson City man for a violation of a suspended sentence warrant in his name.
- A 44-year-old Carson City woman for domestic battery and destruction of property.
- A 22-year-old Carson City woman for a warrant in her name.
- A 56-year-old transient man for a failure to appear warrant in his name.
- A 27-year-old Carson City woman for violation of bail conditions.
- A 64-year-old Carson City man for simple battery.
- A 31-year-old Washoe Valley man for two warrants in his name for failure to appear and contempt of court.
- A 20-year-old Carson City man for criminal contempt.
- A 20-year-old Carson City woman for domestic battery.
- A 33-year-old Carson City man for secon offense driving under the influence.
- A 50-year-old painter from carson city for petit larceny and a contempt of court warrant in his name.
- A 45-year-old Carson City woman for probation violation.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Additionally, early this morning officers responded to a call regarding a person with blood on their face on Beverly Drive. A coroner was called to the location.
On March 21, 2012, officers responded to a call regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Carson Street. There were no fatalities and one of two pedestrians was lifted by Care Flight to an undetermined hospital. It has not been indicated whether or not alcohol played a part in the accident on the part of either the driver or pedestrians in question.
